Sunshine

It is already the third week of the summer school.

Sitting in the classroom,I realized that everything

has changed:different classroom,different teachers,

different classmates,etc.

The weather is so beautiful all these days.One of

my teachers just keeps asking us to go out to enjoyed

the sunshine after school.My friend and I sometimes

go to the Fisherman's Wharf.There are always so

many people there.Some of them are tourists,others

are residents.I find that nobody here will take an

umbrella.Unlike the summer sunshine in south China,

it is so nice here.It won't hurt your skin.And there's

a cool wind.

Summer here is really a good season for us to go out

--to walk around San Francisco.

Life

What is life?Do we have an exact answer?What I know is life isn't easy to every one.Everybody lives a different life.We always think:The others' life is better than mine.Is it true?We sometimes just envy others because they have something we don't have.I am a person who can't stand doing nothing all day long.However,I will envy the people who live such a life.Life seems to be easier to them.

"Life is what you make it."--a wonderful sentence.All of us want to make our life what we want it to be,but not all of us can make our dreams come true.We complain when we learn that we can't reach our goals.We keep working hard before we fail.Life often likes to make a joke on us.

I often think that I will live a different life from others'.Now,I learn that :no matter how good a life it seems to be,you won't be happy if you can't live the life you want it to be.

Golden Gate Park

I went to the Golden Gate Park yesterday.
In fact,I took a bus trip there.Because it
was Sunday,many people went there to
spend their weekend.In addition,the
weather was pretty good to go out.
The Golden Gate was fulled of huge trees.
I could even smell what the trees gave
off--it was the smell of nature.There were
many colorful flowers on both sides of the
road:red,white,yellow,purple,pink and
the like.
All the people there were enjoying
themselves.Some were riding bikes,others
were walking ,others were playing
football.What made me more excited
was seeing the Pacific Ocean:it was an
extremely beautiful picture of unlimited
blue water connected with the sky.Some
sailing boats also made a contribute to
that wonderful picture.
What a excited adventure it was!

If I Could Be Any Animal

If I could be any animal,I would like to be an eagle.
If I were an eagle,I could fly high in the sky;
if I were an eagle, I could go anywhere I want;
if I were an eagle,I could live a free life.

The Pacific Ocean

The Pacific Ocean is the
biggest ocean in the world.
It is one of my dreams to
see it one day.Now I'm in
San Francisco, and I hope
I will get a chance to see
the Pacific Ocean before
long.

Animals,Our Friends

It is a story about a woman and
several orangutans.The woman
took care of the orangutans when
she was a young student working
in a place for study animals.She left
the place a few years later.
When more than twenty years
passed, the woman went back to see
her old friends---the orangutans.She
was happy to find that the orangutans
could still remembered her well.They
welcomed her with embrace.

This story touched me so much,and
I think:If we treat them kindly,some
animals such as ortangutans,dogs,and
even tigers will regard us as friends.

Songbirds

There are many kinds of
songbirds in the world.
Sometimes we can hear
the songbirds around us
sing although we can't see
them.These small animals
make our live more colorful.
Pay attention when you
hear a bird sing next time !

• Yellow Warbler.Cheerful,bright song---sweet,sweet,sweet,little more sweet.

• Cardinal.It's song sounds like what cheer,what cheer,or wheat,wheat,wheat,or pret-ty,pret-ty,pret-ty.
• Starling.It makes many sounds.For example:tseeeer,whooee.
• Song Sparrow.It's song can contain both musical and buzzy notes.

• Cedar Waxwing.Voice: a high,thin,buzzy zeee,zeee.

• Grosbeak.The songs of grosbeaks are among the most beautiful of any bird song.

My hometown, Kaiping
is famous for the Diaolou,
a kind of buildings.They
were built from the early
Qing Dynasty.Our
ancestors used them to
fight against the invading
force and robbers in the
old days.Today a number
of people go to visit the
Diaolou from all over the
world.
